Pakistan's tour of South Africa

The 17 member balanced Pakistan team is on its way to South Africa led by Inzamam.. I dont remember the last time Pakistan won a test series in South Africa..did they ever?? dont kno..need to check the stats.. what I DO remember is their mauling at the hands of South Africa in 2002, under the captaincy of Waqar Younis..
what I DO remember is Shoaib winning Pakistan a test match in 97 with a fantastic 5/43
But Shoaib has not been selected this time... his ban has been lifted...but he hasnt been selected..reason?? - apparently he is not match fit..
Thats the official reason given by PCB...but since when were PCB known for their transparency??? PCB is known for their politics, mis management etc.
It is no secret that Shoaib shares a very volatile relationship with PCB!!
Recently Shoaib had refused to wear a sponsor's logo in a domestic match.. Word in the street is that PCB want him to be grateful and submissive for supporting him in the whole doping fiasco!!
another rumour going around is that Inzy does not want Shoaib in the side..Shoaib's attitude effects the team spirit and unity..
whatever the reason.... Pakistan have made a grave error by leaving out their best fast bowler on such an important tour of South Africa..
Now the South Africa are going to prepare the fast and bouncy wickets knowing they wont have to face Shoaib themselves!!
Its the same old Pakistan, too much politics, too less cricket!!
